OBJECTVES

Our Mission

Samarpan is managed by a team of professionals dedicated to make a difference. Our mission is to promote an efficient and effective “giving culture” that provides greater opportunities to the poor and backward section of India. We firmly believe that we add value only when we do something that no one else is currently doing; or when we do it in a better way. Working with a “burning desire” to make a difference is the greatest motivator to do something meaningful.

We have good infrastructure and adequate staff deeply engaged in Research and Development especially in the field of Science and Technology and Social Sciences. We specialize in Government projects funded by Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Textiles, DC-Handicrafts, Department for SC/ST welfare, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Ministry of Human Resource Development etc. We advocate with them to bring about schemes beneficial to the weaker and marginalized section, sensitizing the various ministries about the issues concerning the poor and providing access to them.

All that Samarpan does is directed towards improving the lives of our “real customers”-the poorest of the poor. We insist on being pro-actively accountable and transparent in all that we do and to all our stake holders and firm believers.

Samarpan hopes to catalyze the creation of a “philanthropy market place in India that will ensure that in the long term resources do reach the most effective organizations in an efficient manner. Samarpan has in the last few years attempted to meet the “un-met gap” of institutions.
