ABOUT US

“Right to Equality” is a fundamental right guaranteed under the constitution of India. Yet, even after 65yrs of Independence there are prevalent severe disparities and inequalities all across the nation. Samarpan for Education and Welfare Society is a voluntary Non Government organization registered under society registration Act 1860 at New Delhi. The area of operation is all over India. The society has been working towards bridging this gap and striving for the welfare of the Schedule Tribes/Schedule Caste /Other Backward Classes/Minority and Weaker sections of the society since last 5 years in NCR Delhi, U.P, M.P., Rajasthan, Chattisgarh and Uttarakhand. Women empowerment ,rural development ,socio-economic development of the rural people living below the poverty line, providing vocational training in the field of computers, handicrafts, handloom, art and culture are the other areas on which Samarpan lays special emphasis. Samarpan is a leading advocate for their rights. We speak-up for them to help them live with dignity, independence and self-fulfillment.

Since its inception till date, the society has conducted different types of awareness camp for women empowerment, vocational training, environment awareness, health awareness to the weaker section of the society.

Our volunteers claim no expenses, which mean that 100% of the money you donate will be used as funds for the projects, without any deduction for the administrative costs. Our vision is to expand our network globally and provide help and assistance of any kind when there is a humanitarian, ecological or environmental need.

Society is also running special coaching classes for the weaker section, and special school for the child labor, vocational training for minority women, education camp to the weaker section, conducting health camp under slum area specially for under privilege category people (BPL).

Underlying everything that Samarpan does is the belief that equity or "equal opportunity" is the cornerstone to civilization. Every human being must have roughly the same opportunity to succeed in life, irrespective of where or how he/she is born.

Unfortunately, this tends to not be true. The last two decades have witnessed a widening of the gap between the rich and poor in India. While the poor in India don't get a fair chance to succeed in life (lack of access to decent education, healthcare and livelihood opportunities), the well-off continue to enjoy benefits from a globalizing economy- greater incomes, reducing taxes, 100% inheritance, etc. The net result is a ticking time-bomb of growing social unrest. Samarpan has, in the last few years, attempted to meet the "unmet gaps" of institutions needed to constitute the nonprofit "philanthropy marketplace".
