Has been working to improve the lives of disadvantaged children, their families and communities through an approach that puts children at the centre of community development. Since our inception, we have been working to help children access their rights to proper healthcare, basic education, and healthy environment, protection from abuse and exploitation and participation in decisions that affect their lives. Samarpan Welfare and Education Society currently working in 5 states ( UP, MP, Rajasthan, Chattisgarh and NCR) in India, across communities and has touched the lives of over thousands children. Based on many years of experience, Samarpan Welfare and Education Society believes that sustainable development of disadvantaged communities can be achieved only if children's best interests are at the heart of everything we do and if children themselves actively participate in the process. Child centered community development is the term we use to describe how we aim to do our development work. It's a rights based approach to development where we support communities to develop the structures and skills they need to provide a safe and healthy environment in which children are able to realize their full potential.
